I'm still jamming OZZY, Randy is tearing it up.He was an old soul and he had a strenght to him, he was a musician. You want a guitar lesson then listen to his riffs. OZZY has allways been faithful and loyal to Randy. They were a beautiful thing, the two of them together. With out eachother we would of never had THE BLIZZARD OF OZZ .He had that inner peace!!! I want to know what you said!!!!

  • Loyalty and the respect that should come along. Never differ from the thoughts of purity that has saved us! And then again the difference is how you love the life that we all have !!

  • Ozzy and Randy were the best together...... CASE CLOSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Love you all

I WANNA KNOW WHAT YOU MEANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    R.I.P. forever Randy Rhaods
  • A while has come and gone and It's rough when the feeling inside is torn away by those who claim to be true! OZZY RULES!!! < BUT RANDY LIVES IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Damn right he does!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He and Ozzy were musical soul mates... Case Closed!!!!!!!!!

Goodbye to Romance ----- Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run
There's still time to change the road you're on. ;-)
  • Randy Rhoads is my #1 influence when it comes to guitar playing.. the neo-classical metal stuff he came up with is just phenomanal! Crowley, Revalation... the riffs... you can't say enough! And too bad there's no pro-shot Randy footage with Ozzy (besides the After Hours tapes/bootlegs)... anyone have any of the video boots? I have a bunch.

  • I liked Randy because he had respect for not only his instrument but other people too. I think often enough, people take qualities like that for granted in lieu of the almighty dollar and let that change who they are as people. If Randy had lived, he and Ozzy's daughters prolly woulda been like Full House or something. We need contemporary Roger Rabbit cheeseball acts to counter the snotty nu-metal brats.

  • I've been away from this place for a while and I've wondered when I would return. Some people have addad me as a friend. Thanks for the gesture! You can't kill rock "n" roll it's here to stay!! RHOADS LIVES and OZZY RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Randy is my most important influence, crazy train was the first song that I learned and it still is one of my favorite to play!!!!!!!!!! I Own both the Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman!!!!!!!! Randy Rhoads is beast!
  • it must have been really sad for Ozzy that someone so close to him who was central to his solo career like Randy was, someone so talented classically with instruments who inspired him and so many others had such a tragic death. and not only that, but that he died, so young, in the same location Ozzy was. that must have been a horrendous trauma to live through, i mean, picture it being you and your closest friend. it would be beyond getting your mind around i think.

to me, it just seems like not only was Randy the intended victim, but Ozzy too. it just sounds very odd that Randy & Sharon's assistant were even up in the plane. bizarre really.

I can't seem to see you baby ... although my eyes are open wide ... but I know I'll see you once more ... when I see you, I'll see you on the other side

Honestly, I'm 13, and I still think Randy Rhoads was the best guitarist who ever lived. Ozzy certainly does have a taste for great guitarists. Just look at Rhoads, Lee, and Wylde! Since I'm on the Randy Rhoads page, why not start a Quiet Riot conversation. What are your favorite songs by the band? Personally, I like "Cum on Feel the Noise".

well, i heard Quiet Riot, but was honestly not much of a fan of them. I was married to a guy who was trained classically though, so I guess I just became immensely more sensitive to the beautiful sounds that only a few can bring into reality when their fingers touch the strings. Randy's sounds with Ozzy have that magic. And yea, Zakk does too. I am not all that familiar with Jake E Lee's sound, honestly...I'll need to get The Ultimate Sin and listen to those songs.
